This Raspberry Vinaigrette recipe is one of our favorite homemade dressings to make for summer salads that are tossed with fresh fruit, nuts and goat cheese. It’s made with fresh raspberries (though frozen berries work just fine too), red wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, honey, lemon juice and olive oil. Raspberry Vinaigrette Recipe Ingredients

  • Raspberries. We use fresh raspberries for this dressing, but frozen berries will also work well. Just be sure to let them thaw completely first before blending them.
  • Vinegar. We use both red wine vinegar and a good quality balsamic vinegar for this recipe.
  • Honey.  This adds a little sweetness and flavor to the dressing.
  • Lemon Juice. Adding a bit lemon juice adds a perky flavor to the vinaigrette.
  • Olive Oil. We use a light olive oil for this recipe so the raspberry flavor can really be appreciated.
  • Water. We add a couple of tablespoons of water to mellow the vinegar.
  • Seasoning. We season the vinaigrette with a little salt and black pepper.

Why You’ll Love This Homemade Raspberry Vinaigrette

  • It’s Better Than Store-Bought.  Making any dressing at home from scratch is always a better idea than buying the bottled stuff from the store. When you make dressings at home, you can choose fresh ingredients and you can control the amount of salt and sugar. Some of the bottled stuff may contain preservatives and artificial flavors.
  • It’s Quick And Easy To Make. Making dressings from scratch literally takes just 5 minutes. Buy yourself some new mason jars so you can store your new favorite homemade dressings in them. Of course they’ll need to be stored in the refrigerator to stay fresh.
  • It Tastes Amazing. This Raspberry Vinaigrette has an amazing flavor and its made with healthy fresh ingredients!

Serving Suggestions

We like to serve this dressing with an arugula salad tossed with nuts and goat cheese. That’s our favorite, but it really goes well with pretty much any salad you might want to toss it with.
