This homemade Maple Vinaigrette recipe is one of my favorite homemade salad dressing recipes to make.  It’s made with Braggs apple cider vinegar, pure maple syrup, Dijon mustard and olive oil. This maple dijon vinaigrette has a completely addictive flavor and its especially great with mixed greens or arugula tossed with fruit, nuts and cheese (goat or feta).

I love making homemade salad dressings because the ingredients are fresher, healthier and they taste better that the bottled stuff you buy at the grocery store. Once you get in the habit of making homemade salad dressings, you’ll love how quick and easy they are to make and how superior the taste is compared to your store-bought favorites. As for this Maple Dijon Vinaigrette, it’s an easy one to make, and I usually have ll of the ingredients on hand to make it.

Maple Vinaigrette Recipe

This recipe for maple vinaigrette is made with just 4 simple ingredients.

  • Apple Cider Vinegar.  We use apple cider vinegar to make this dressing.
  • Pure Maple Syrup.  This adds sweetness and so much flavor to the dressing.  Be sure to use pure maple syrup for this recipe.
  • Dijon Mustard. Adding a bit of Dijon mustard helps to emulsify this dressing.
  • Olive Oil. We use olive oil for this recipe (either extra-virgin or light). I prefer to use light olive oil for a lighter taste and so the maple flavor can really shine through.
  • Seasoning. We sprinkle in just a little salt and pepper for seasoning.

How To Make Maple Vinaigrette

This consistency for this vinaigrette is best when blended rather than whisked or shaken.

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend for a few seconds until the ingredients are well incorporated.

How To Store Leftovers

Leftovers will keep in the tightly sealed mason jar in the refrigerator for up to a week. You will need to let the mason jar sit at room temperature for a few minutes before using though because the olive oil will solidify a bit in the refrigerator.
