French Bread Pizza Recipe Ingredients
- Butter, Olive Oil, Garlic and Parmesan Cheese. We make a garlic butter to brush on the bread and then we bake it so its nice and crispy before adding the sauce, cheese and toppings. This adds another layer of flavor and it helps to keep the bread from getting soggy from the marinara sauce.
- Bread. Use an Italian or French bread loaf sliced in half lengthwise.
- Sauce. We use a jar of store-bought marinara sauce, but you can use spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce. Whatever you like best. If you want to make the sauce from scratch, you can try our homemade Marinara Sauce.
- Seasoning. We use a simple mix of dried Italian seasonings, red pepper flakes and black pepper to sprinkle on the sauce.
- Cheese. Use low-moisture mozzarella for this recipe.
- Toppings. We use supreme pizza toppings for this recipe, which is a tasty combo of turkey pepperoni, turkey sausage, mushrooms, red onion, bell pepper and black olives, but use whatever toppings you like best.
