Chipotle Vinaigrette Recipe
- Lime Juice. Use fresh squeezed lime juice for this dressing. You’ll need 3-4 large juicy limes for this recipe. Don’t use the bottled stuff.
- Olive Oil. I use extra-virgin olive oil, but you could use avocado oil if you prefer.
- Garlic. Garlic always adds a nice flavor to salad dressings!
- Honey. We use clover honey to sweeten this vinaigrette with.
- Adobo Sauce. We add just enough adobo sauce for flavor not heat. If you want a spicier dressing, then add more adobo sauce to your liking. You could use chipotle powder instead of canned sauce. If using dried chipotle powder, start off by adding 1 teaspoon and add to your personal taste.
- Seasoning. A little cumin powder, salt and pepper is all you’ll need to season this dressing with.

How To Save Leftover Chipotle In Adobo Sauce
- Place the leftover chipotles with adobo sauce in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Using a tablespoon, measure the blended chipotles in adobo sauce into the sections of an ice cube tray and freeze for 2-3 hours until frozen solid.
- Transfer the cubes to a freezer bag (with the date marked on the bag) and store in the freezer. If properly stored, the cubes should last up to 6 months.
- Defrost each cube as needed for recipes.
