Mexican Fruit Salad Ingredients
This healthy fruit salad recipe is a combination of fresh fruits that should be easy for you to find at your local health food store and/or market.
- Mexican papaya, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- Jicama (about 1/2 to 3/4 pounds), peeled and cut into small dice
- Mangoes, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- Watermelon, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- Orange, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- Cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- Lime juice (2 – 3 limes)
- Fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- Chili powder

How to Make Fruit Salad
- Combine the diced fruit in a bowl. Pour the lime juice over the fruit
- Add the cilantro and chili and toss gently to mix well
- Chill in the refrigerator before serving

- 1 large Mexican papaya (if you can't find it then use 2 regular papayas), peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- 1 small jicama (about 1/2 to 3/4 pounds), peeled and cut into small dice
- 2 large mangoes, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- 2 cups watermelon, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- 1 orange, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- 1 large cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut into small dice
- 3 tablespoons of lime juice (2 - 3 limes)
- 2 - 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- a pinch of sea salt (no more than 1/2 teaspoon) (optional)
- 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon chili
Instructions
- Combine the diced fruit in a bowl. Pour the lime juice over the fruit.
- Add the cilantro and chili and toss gently to mix well.
