If you love the taste of coffee but you’re trying to cut back on your caffeine intake, then this drink is for you!

Four small clear glass bowls filled with ice, water, oat milk and honey.

This coffee flavored water is a favorite drink that I like to sip on in the late mornings/early afternoons. I absolutely love it! It’s quick and easy to make, especially if you already have the coffee made and chilling in the refrigerator. Sometimes I’ll ad 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract to the mix if I want to add a hint of vanilla flavor to the coffee.  This coffee flavor water is a great way to stay hydrated while enjoying a light coffee flavor without all the caffeine.

Coffee Flavored Water Recipe

  • Brewed Coffee. We use a breakfast blend ground coffee for this recipe, but use whatever coffee you like (regular or decaffeinated).  I personally like Gelson’s and Illy (Classico) Brands.
  • Milk. Use whatever kind of milk you like, but for this recipe we use unsweetened oat milk (Califia Extra Creamy Oat Milk).
  • Sweetener. We keep it simple here by using Pure Clover Honey as the sweetener rather than granulated sugar.
  • Ice. Use plenty of ice so the flavored coffee water will be nice and cold.
  • Water. Use a good filtered or spring water for the recipe rather than tap.
