Green Smoothie

If you don’t own a NutriBullet yet… might want to consider making an investment.   Kyle bought one several months ago and he made me some of the best smoothies ever – which totally got me hooked.  I went out and bought one and I told my friend Cathe – and she went out and bought two.  One for back-up.  It’s been a great tool for her to use to sneak some greens into her twins diet.    They’re easy to use – easy to clean – and because of that – I make smoothies pretty much every day.    This Pineapple Crush with Mixed Greens (aka Green Smoothie) was one of the first smoothies that Kyle made for me and it’s still my favorite.  green-smoothie-with-pineapple

If you want to sub out the pineapple with apple – that makes a really tasty smoothie as well.  Often times I’ll add a banana and other times I’ll toss in a handful of blueberries.

I always use fresh berries in my smoothies – but frozen work just as well.  Coconut water gives the smoothies a nice refreshing taste.  And if you can, try to buy organic ingredients and support your local farmers.

If you don’t own a NutriBullet – then just add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
