When I add these Antioxidant Rich Blueberry Ice Cubes to a pitcher of lemonade, I like to add some regular water ice cubes that have been prettied-up with fresh blueberries and mint. They’re super easy to make. Just fill up the ice cube trays with water, then drop in a few fresh blueberries and fresh mint leaves.
It’s important to stay hydrated, especially during the warmer months of summer. But sometimes plain old water can get a little boring. So I’m always looking for fun ways to add a little flavor and color to keep things interesting. Antioxidant Rich Blueberry Ice Cubes
Yield: 32 ice cubes
Total Time: 4- 6 hours
- 1-1/2 cups blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup water
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons pure clover honey
- Blend all of the ingredients in a blender.
- Pour into ice cube trays.
- Freeze until solid.
